We had an unforgettable finale to the 2024 Student Ambassador Conference! Our ambassadors had an eventful day immersed in networking opportunities and learning more about the CAS. The day kicked off with a visit to the Exhibitor’s Hall, followed by lunch and speed networking with volunteer mentors. A major highlight of the day was the inspiring keynote address by Anna Maria Chávez, former CEO of Girl Scouts US. Ambassadors also enjoyed the “Data Analytics in Sports” general session, presented by industry experts Mike Greenfield and Paul Bessire. We concluded the program with remarks from current and former CAS Presidents, then celebrated with the rest of the #CASAnnual attendees at Rustler’s Rooste. The night was filled with cowboy games, dancing, and authentic Phoenix fare. Cheers to the amazing group of students who joined us this year — and to the bright future ahead!

Day one of the 2024 CAS Student Ambassador Conference is in the books! After arriving in Phoenix, our ambassadors got started with an icebreaker bingo, where they connected and learned fun facts about one another. In the afternoon, they attended two insightful workshops: “The Price is Right: An Actuarial Pricing Workshop,” led by former CAS Student Ambassador Kinsey T., ACAS; and “Crafting Your Personal Brand,” presented by Mindy Moss, FCAS. We wrapped up the day with a group dinner at Aunt Chilada’s. Excitement is high as we prepare for a full day of learning and networking tomorrow! #CASAnnual
