What a week! We're almost wrapping up our time here at the #NCPA2024 Annual Convention, and it’s been a fantastic mix of learning, connection, and fun. From valuable team bonding to memorable performances, this year's event has truly delivered! A special highlight? Jeff Harrell, Cascadia Pharmacy Group's CEO and incoming National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) President, didn't disappoint onstage, diving into some hilarious and nerve-wracking antics with The Passing Zone (https://lnkd.in/gvaM78MG)! Their dangerous yet funny tricks—juggling, knife-throwing, and all—brought down the house while showcasing the essentials of success: innovation, collaboration, and execution. Their mix of humor and high-stakes stunts kept everyone on the edge of their seats and gave us all a great reminder of the power of teamwork. Tomorrow, we'll cap off the convention with the House of Delegates, where Jeff will give his acceptance speech and kick off his presidential term. Highlighting Leadership & Inspiration at #NCPA2024 Today, we were honored to have two of our Cascadia Pharmacy Group owner/partners sharing their expertise and inspiring future pharmacy leaders at the NCPA Annual Conference. Jacqueline Eide, owner of Goldendale Pharmacy (Goldendale, WA), was a valued panelist on the Career Opportunities Panel for student pharmacists. Jacqueline shared insights into the pathway to pharmacy ownership, discussing her journey, the initial steps in ownership, and strategies for building a successful business. Aspiring pharmacy owners gained firsthand guidance from Jacqueline and other seasoned professionals on everything from junior partnerships to financial planning—a unique look into what it takes to own and lead in community pharmacy. Josuah Tilus, owner of Chinook Pharmacy & Variety (Forks, WA), offered his perspective on the Postgrad Panel: Lessons from New Practitioners. Speaking to recent graduates and young professionals, Josuah shared his experience transitioning from pharmacy school into practice, the steps he took toward ownership, and his involvement in leadership roles. Kicking off the CE workshops at this year's National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) Annual Convention! Earlier today, Cascadia Pharmacy Group's Crystal Bryan, PharmD and Tara Pfund, PharmD dropped some knowledge in their continuing education session during the first day of the NCPA Convention programming. (NCPA is the premier event for independent pharmacy professionals, offering a unique space for learning, networking, and exploring innovative strategies that elevate community pharmacy practice.) Crystal and Tara presented on the essential workflow and mindset shifts needed to support clinical program growth, sharing practical insights and expertise that resonate with today’s independent pharmacy landscape. We can't wait to see you in 4 short days at the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) 2024 Annual Convention.    Not only is it a great convention that connects leaders, new ideas, and innovative technologies. There is also great CE (including Tara & Crystal's on Workflow & Mindset shifts on Saturday Morning), a residency showcase (stop by and check out our residency locations), the student Business Plan Competition, an expansive Expo Hall, plenty of fun at the receptions and so much more.    On top of all that, this year is extra special for our group as Jeff Harrell will be giving his acceptance speech at the House of Delegates on Tuesday to start off his exciting year as NCPA President.
