We're excited to share that Casma Therapeutics, Inc., a pioneer in leveraging the autophagy/lysosomal system for groundbreaking medicines, is participating at the prestigious Gordon Research Conference on Autophagy in Stress, Development, and Disease in Lucca, Italy. Our own Dr. Leon Murphy, Chief Scientific Officer, will be leading a pivotal session on "Aging and Inflammation" on March 13, 2024. Equally important, Dr. Dan Baird, Vice President of Molecular Discovery, will contribute his expertise to a panel discussion on March 10 and present his groundbreaking research on "Targeting the FIP200 Initiation Complex to Direct Selective Autophagy and Activate Bulk Autophagy" on March 11. Yesterday in Keystone, Colorado, Leon Murphy, Ph.D, Casma’s Chief Scientific Officer presented and chaired a session at the joint Keystone Meeting for Proximity Based Therapeutics and Targeted Protein Degradation in the section of “Emerging Proximity Biology for Target Degradation.” Casma is proud of our CSO!. Small but mighty is something that we at Casma take very seriously. This holiday season, in partnership with the Wonderfund through DCF and with help from our neighbors Rectify Pharma, we were able to fully sponsor gifts for 40 children! Every year, the Wonderfund brings holiday magic to over 50,00 children and teens across Massachusetts. We had such fun shopping for the children's gifts on our list.   Thank you to all who were able to help us reach our goal! How we show up for our community matters so much.

Always a good time, Casmaniacs gathered this past week in celebration of Diwali! We enjoyed Bollywood music, delicious chaat and samosas, and specialty drinks. This festivals of lights and new beginnings is one of our favorite times to celebrate here at Casma! #diwali2023
