Innovation = value-added agriculture = strong business community = excellent quality of life = Casselton Grateful to be the home of Theraldson Ethanol~
We had a chance to sit down and visit with Ryan Carter, Chief Operating Officer at Tharaldson Ethanol today. It was great to hear a bit more about the innovative approach they are taking to generate more value from each bushel of corn. From innovation in the distillers grain stream (high protein feeds for fish and pets) to advances in energy efficiency, his team has taken a ‘can do’ approach to solving problems they encounter. We are definitely looking forward to further engagement with Ryan and his team! #ndsuagriculture #ethanol #innovation #fermentation #cornethanol #ddgs #northdakotaagriculture

In the spring of 2026, downtown Casselton will have its underground infrastructure replaced, making way for all new streets and sidewalks. If it has to be tore out, we want to put it back together better than ever! We are excited to kick off a series of public engagement events to hear what our neighbors wish there was to do downtown and what we can plan for to make it happen. #Activation #PublicSpace #LighterQuickerCheaper #Powerof10 #RuralDevelopment Discover Outdoors

Casselton's first public mural could be YOUR design! This mural does not need to be painted, rather we can turn your art into a vinyl application to the wall. The sky is the limit! Deadline: November 4, 2024 Your artwork could help beautify the city, boost community pride, and be a must-see photo spot! Bonus points for designs that include "Casselton." "Keller (of Keller's Barber Shop) said he and his wife discussed relocating the shop to Casselton six years ago when they first moved to the community, but at the time, there was an existing barber shop in town. Also, it wasn’t until witnessing Casselton’s recent economic and community growth that a move felt warranted." Thank you for being part of Casselton's thriving business community! #EconomicDevelopment
