Last week at the Region 3 Housing Coalition conference, we had the privilege of working with a graphic recording artist to bring the keynote presentation to life! 🎨📋 This interactive experience allowed all participants to share insights and engage in real time as the artist created a vibrant visual summary that captured the key themes from our discussion — collaboration, trust, community context, and the importance of shared language in tackling homelessness. Seeing these ideas illustrated in real time was a powerful reminder of the shared vision we all have for housing solutions. 🏠 We just received the final product, and it beautifully represents our commitment at CATCH to create a supportive, inclusive community where every person has a place to call home. 🧡 💬 What do you think of the artwork? Have you ever participated in an event with live graphic recording? #CATCH #housing #collaboration #sharedvision #graphicrecording #community

"If we could get enough people bought into the idea that housing is a human right and that we are healthier as a community when we are all housed, we could easily end homelessness." - Stephanie Day, Executive Director Housing is a Human Right and Homelessness is Complex 🏠 Recognizing the many layers that contribute to homelessness is crucial for fostering meaningful change. In a recent interview with Christina & Company, our Executive Director, Stephanie Day, shared valuable insights: "We think about homelessness like it’s a financial problem, but that’s only a small piece of it. There’s tons of different sources of capital, like social capital, and if you have that, you would never experience homelessness because you’d have friends or family to support you. Actually reaching the point of homelessness, you’ve burned through all of the types of resources that are available to you, not just financial ones. It’s 100% a layered approach to understanding the problem." A special thank you to Christina Ward, a dedicated realtor and partner with CATCH, for the opportunity to engage in this vital conversation about housing and its significance in our community. Together, we can advocate for holistic solutions that change both the narrative and the lives of those experiencing homelessness in our community. 🧡 #HousingIsAHumanRight #EndHomelessness #CATCHProgram #CommunityImpact

🎉 A huge thanks to Stewart Title for their incredible support! As the nonprofit recipient of their Pickleball Tournament fundraiser, we’re thrilled to share that they raised an amazing $5,061.74 to help end local family homelessness. That’s enough to provide more than three deposits on new homes for CATCH clients, helping to end homelessness for multiple families! Partnerships like these not only raise essential funds—they’re also vital for building awareness. It truly takes a community working together to end homelessness, and we’re grateful for every player, partner, and supporter who joined us in this mission. If you or your organization wants to make a meaningful impact, consider hosting a third-party fundraiser with us! Every dollar raised brings us closer to a future where every family has a safe place to call home. 🏠
