What an incredible evening at our 7th annual CATCH the Flavor storytelling dinner! 🧡🏠 Over 200 community members joined us outdoors for an unforgettable night of Basque dancing, paella, and sangria in partnership with The Basque Market in Downtown Boise. Two resilient mothers shared their journeys from homelessness to stability, highlighting the life-changing impact of CATCH’s support. From Homelessness to Hope 🌟 Before finding CATCH, LaRita (left) was battling addiction, homelessness, and fleeing domestic violence. Her journey took her to the streets, struggling for survival, until a friend encouraged her to reach out to CATCH. LaRita’s determination and strength, alongside the support of her caseworker Amanda, helped her regain stability, secure a job, and find a safe home for herself and her daughter. Today, LaRita is thriving, having rebuilt her life, her home, and her future. “Home is more than just a roof over your head. It’s a place filled with laughter, safety, and where you can be yourself,” LaRita says, now sober since November 2022 and proudly watching her daughter excel in school. LaRita will be speaking at CATCH the Flavor this week, but even if you can’t attend the sold-out event, you can still support families like hers!
