We were honored to recently participate in the Military Sexual Trauma (MST) National Training Symposium, hosted by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). CATHEXIS Vice President of Transition Services, Stephanie M., joined this event led by Melissa Cohen, Executive Director of Outreach, Transition and Economic Development (OTED).   The symposium provided an invaluable platform for MST Coordinators to engage with key VA stakeholders on crucial topics, including how to better serve service members and veterans who have experienced trauma and crisis. Special thanks to the Undersecretary for Benefits, the Honorable Joshua Jacobs, and the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, the Honorable Denis R. McDonough, for their insights. Our appreciation also goes to the CATHEXIS team, who, in collaboration with our OTED partners, ensured the event was executed flawlessly.   We are proud to have supported and contributed to such an impactful discussion. CATHEXIS is excited to close out the month of March with an employee spotlight for one of our senior program analysts! Keysha Sosa Salgado serves clients and employees on our U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs OTED Curriculum Team and as the CATHEXIS Veterans Resource Group (VRG) Lead, respectively. An army veteran and proud wife and mother of three children, she is passionate about veteran benefit education and, when asked about leading the VRG, said, “I perceive this as an exceptional opportunity to support Veteran employees within CATHEXIS by providing a clear understanding of the benefits offered by VA. I aim to educate them on how to navigate these benefits or services and even offer guidance on where to get more information or seek additional assistance should they express interest in them.”
