Throwback to last month when Kerry Alys Robinson, President and CEO of Catholic Charities USA visited us. She had the chance to not only hear about but also visit some of our sites and have lunch with our partners at one of the affordable housing sites we helped build in the Lower East Side of NYC. Thank you, Kerry, for taking the time to come here! Read more about her visit here: https://lnkd.in/eTfNRc7C

About us
Our Vision Catholic Charities helps solve the problems of New Yorkers in need - non-Catholics and Catholics alike. The neglected child, the homeless family, and the hungry senior are among those for whom we provide help and create hope. We rebuild lives and touch almost every human need promptly, locally, day in and day out, always with compassion and dignity. We help your neighbors as you would like to be helped if your family were in need. Our Mission The Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York seeks to uphold the dignity of each person as made in the image of God by serving the basic needs of the poor, troubled, frail and oppressed of all religions. We collaborate with parishes, as well as non-Catholic and Catholic partners, to build a compassionate and just society. Through a network of administered, sponsored and affiliated agencies, Catholic Charities delivers, coordinates, and advocates for quality human services and programs touching almost every human need.

What an incredible groundbreaking ceremony for the West Brighton PACT project! Catholic Homes New York – and its partners – is embarking on a $332.3 million rehabilitation project for the residents of West Brighton, initiated by the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). This collaboration with BFC PARTNERS, Pinnacle City Living, and CB-Emmanuel Realty, LLC promises to transform lives in a very positive way.
🚧 Great News for West Brighton! 🚧 We’ve officially broken ground on the $332.3 million PACT project, marking a monumental milestone for Staten Island and New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). This initiative will transform 16 residential buildings, providing over 1,300 residents with extensive upgrades to their apartments, public spaces, and building infrastructure. 🧱 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly to reach this monumental point. The comprehensive scope will address all known capital needs of the properties by upgrading apartments, public spaces, and building infrastructure, while prioritizing resident preferences and investments aimed at improving quality of life. 🏗️🏢✨ Photo Credit: BFC PARTNERS #NYCHA #PACT #CommunityTransformation #StatenIsland
