Job details: This (full-time) entry-level home staging/stylist position provides the ideal candidate with an incredible opportunity to grow, learn and lead in a dynamic creative environment that blends interior design, home staging, and with styling skills. Position: full-time Interior designer - home staging styling /visual merchandiser. When not on staging assignments work location will be our Hudson Valley headquarters/warehouse located on 4 acres surrounded by orchards in bucolic New Paltz. CHDR maintains an expansive warehouse, which includes a curated collection of furniture, artwork, chandeliers, accessories, and drapery. To meet the needs of its expanding business, the company's new, expansive 12,500 square foot state-of-the art building/warehouse (to be completed in October/November 2024), will serve as the first passive house certified warehouse in North America.   Who You Are: You are a smart, self-starter with excellent communication skills and a background or strong interest in visual merchandising and or interior design. You live in one of the five burroughs of Manhattan and when not on staging jobs in Manhattan are willing/able to work out of our Hudson Valley Headquarters 2-3 days a week as needed. (A REQUIREMENT FOR CONSIDERATION)**   Educational/Experience (required/preferred): College degree (interior design or similiar) Ideal candidates: Visual merchandising experience specifically in the home decor (not fashion) field is a plus (but not required). Strong interest in real estate and interior design (a plus but not required). Basic ability to assemble furniture. Basic ability to hang artwork.
