    We are excited to announce the newest addition to our CATIC Southeast Team, Stephen Emert, who joins us as Vice President and Georgia State Counsel. In this role, Steve will join the Georgia underwriting team to support CATIC agents, develop training and education materials, and oversee underwriting policies in the state. Steve was in private practice for 24 years in Georgia before joining the CATIC team. His practice focused on residential and commercial closings as well as estate planning, probate, and general business transactions. While in private practice, Steve was also lead litigation counsel for multiple clients whose cases involved real property.
