Protein trade has certainly favored imports over exports so far in 2024. Year-to-date through August, total exports are down about 2 percent or 260 million pounds while total imports are up 17 percent or 536 million pounds. Higher domestic prices, particularly for beef, have been a major contributing factor for the differences seen this year. 👉🚢https://lnkd.in/g9k6vs-9 #CattleFax #trade #agtrade #beefexports #beefimports
