About us

When we opened our doors at Cayuga Medical Associates in 2006, our goal was to provide exemplary patient care. As partners with Cayuga Medical Center, we share its mission to keep our patients at the center of what we do. The result has been the growth of an outstanding group of internal medicine and specialty physicians who are passionate about health care and who are committed to their patients and to the community as a whole. Our physicians work as a team with an experienced group of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and staff to provide easily accessible, patient-focused care in a welcoming and comfortable setting. We have offices conveniently located in Ithaca, Lansing, Cortland, and Schuyler County. Cayuga Medical Associates comprises several different medical and surgical specialties. The diversity of practitioners within CMA enables us to provide prompt specialist referrals and facilitates communication among our caregivers and patients. Our collaboration with Cayuga Medical Center and its affiliates gives us the additional advantage of swift referrals to world-class tertiary care centers.

  • On National Intern Day, we’re highlighting the dedication and hard work of 3 of our amazing interns. This summer they have worked with our DEI team to help source, stock, and maintain our Community Cupboard. The food is available at no cost for patients, staff, and their loved ones, with the aim of advancing health equity, food security, and overall health and wellness in our communities. Cayuga Health has Community Cupboards are located at Cayuga Park, Schuyler Hospital, with a third location at the Ithaca Mall in the works. This peace of mind contributes to better mental health and well-being. Access to nutritious food is essential for maintaining good health and preventing chronic diseases. • Maguire Subaru of Ithaca recently donated blankets to the Cayuga Medical Center Foundation for patients undergoing cancer treatments. The donation is part of a partnership between Subaru and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as part of the Subaru Loves to Care Event. Since 2016, LLS and Subaru have supported cancer patients and their families with free resources such as blankets. Blankets not only provide emotional comfort for patients undergoing treatment, but also can manage physical effects as well. Often, chemotherapy can cause side effects that make patients feel cold. The cancer care kits, provided by the CMC Foundation, will also include self-care items not covered by insurance, such as soap, moisturizer, lip balm, and lotion.
