Here’s a top 10 list of tips for Field Responders after a Florida hurricane Powered by ChatGPT 4o and us: 1. Prioritize Personal Safety Ensure that all responders have the necessary protective gear, including helmets, gloves, goggles, and sturdy boots. Always assess for hazardous conditions such as downed power lines or unstable structures before entering. Chat didn't mention suspect puddles, and snakes...watch where you step! 2. Stay Hydrated and Rested Florida's post-hurricane environment can be hot and humid. Responders should drink plenty of water and take breaks to avoid heat exhaustion or dehydration. Coordinate with Local Authorities Collaborate with local emergency services, law enforcement, and utility companies to ensure efforts are aligned, avoid duplicating work, and stay informed about current hazards. 7. Provide Clear Information to Affected Residents Offer accurate information on shelters, resources, and timelines for recovery efforts. Not only is it a great idea, but required by most carriers to show in the first photo. 8.
