An overview of the foundation of our investment strategy by Chairman of the Board, Chris Chambers, MBA.

Under Secretary of Treasury, Henry Paulson America created a backstop to the U.S. economy Through a designation of systemically important financial institutions J.P. Morgan, Bank of America, Citi, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, BNY, and State Street Any one of which, a rumor of financial trouble could create a domino effect of loss of confidence in the financial system creating simultaneous runs on Wall Street financial institutions and banking as a whole. It was a painful and near-cataclysmic experience with the failure of Lehman Brothers, the largest corporate bankruptcy in history That led to a revelation in the way our financial markets work And trust and confidence are paramount over facts A rumor started the change of events that led to the failure of Lehman and The Global Financial Crisis of 2008-2009, the rumor was about Bear Stearns Companies. Being designated as systemically important means If there was a liquidity crisis at the firm due to unforeseen circumstances In the U.S. or World economy The Federal Reserve now has the authority to inject capital directly into the bank to calm the markets and reassure investors around the world the U.S. will not allow the global markets to fail due to a crisis of capital at one of our systemically important banks. Another lesson learned when Fed Chairman, Ben Bernanke During the financial crisis explained to a room full of leaders in Congress what caused The Great Depression "I've studied The Great Depression my entire life, what caused the great depression was a simultaneous seizure of the credit markets causing a lack of credit nationwide in businesses and households. Credit has the power to build a society and the power to destroy the society swiftly and absolutely. If we don't act now, we won't have an economy on Monday." What was revealed in The Financial Crisis of 2008-2009 Is that the world is now a spider web of investment capital flow With structured systems of distribution like The Federal Reserve System of the United States 12 central hubs of accounting and circulation of U.S. currency feed into a central command organization known as The Fed. The Fed is the American Government's Largest Creditor The Fed is the American Government's Largest Investor The Fed is a private corporation, not a government institution. It is important to understand the distinction when analyzing the investment strategies of the Fed: "1) Department of Treasury. Led by the Secretary of the Treasury, the manages the public debt, finance and tax laws, and fiscal policy. 2) Department of Commerce. The Secretary of Commerce heads this department, which is responsible for matters relating to economic growth. 3) Department of Housing and Urban Development. This department manages programs like Housing and Community Planning and Development. 4) Department of Energy. The Department of Energy deals with policies relating to energy production."--MasterClass Chambers Capital Ventures, Inc.

"You seem like you're doing everything, Investors like when you focus on one thing" An approach that currently results In only 3% of investments Generating returns Let me share why having a narrow focus misses the mark 97% of the time. Too many problems remain after solving just one problem For example, the greatest sales tool in the world Won't compensate for a lack of alignment with the needs and values Of the buyers in the market By the end customer of the sales tool Leading to user attrition of the sales tool When the root problem is messaging and positioning Both are marketing and product marketing problems not sales problems An example is Ford releasing an electric vehicle in 1990s. There was no infrastructure for charging the vehicles There was no appetite in the market for alternatives to gasoline Prices for gasoline had yet to spike about $4 nationwide The planet was not as conscious of the impacts of global warming Caused by CO² emissions So introducing an electric car into that PESTEL model in the 1990s was bound to fail. Political, no focus on mandates for zero emissions Economic, no demand for electric or hybrid vehicles Social, no societal awareness for the urgent need to reduce emissions Technological, no infrastructure in place for mass charging of vehicles Environmental, lack of corporate ESG initiatives to set the standard Legal, lack of legislative measures increasing the need for alternative energy Focusing on one thing like creating a product without solving or addressing the operational and functional challenges of the company who is buying the product will result in a 97% failure rate. Every industry has a set of PESTEL influences that impact the SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) of a company That is operating within that industry And that is before we get into the business operations challenges that have birthed disciplines like lean manufacturing, six sigma, lean startup, and other methodologies designed to reduce waste in 8 areas of operations of a company as defined by LEAN methodology 1) Defects 2) Overproduction 3) Waiting 4) Not utilizing talent 5) Transportation 6) Inventory excess 7) Motion waste 8) Over processing The 8th waste, non-utilized talent or ‘Skills’ of workers, was later introduced in the 1990s when the Toyota Production System was adopted in the Western world. Which the 5 principles of Kaizen help resolve Know Your Customer: The core principle believes in finding the interests and wants of the target customer to ensure the organization can create value for its customers. Let It Flow: Zero waste refers to raw materials, movement, and time taken to perform a task. Go To Gemba: Refers to where work is executed or value is created, such as the office or factory floor. Empowerment: The team and the management aligning on a set of goals is essential to attain exemplary efficiency. Transparency: The metrics for evaluating performances must be visible and tangible.
