CECU’s Jason Altmire was invited by the U.S. State Department and the American embassies in Vienna and Slovakia to talk about the American elections before key audiences in Central Europe. Jason joined former Bush administration official Mark Pfeifle for bipartisan discussions with business leaders, ambassadors, cabinet officials, members of Parliament, universities, thought leaders, political activists, students, and the media. Topics included polarization in American politics, the state of our elections, and what to expect in the new presidential administration. Thanks to World Learning and the State Department for facilitating 17 events over five days last week in Vienna and Slovakia!
