🛍️ Shopee, one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Southeast Asia, is using StarRocks to supercharge its data analytics! Find out how StarRocks is boosting performance and reducing costs across three critical services: ⚙️ Data Service: Shopee's platform converts data into APIs, allowing users to select Hive tables, apply filters, and create APIs effortlessly. By replacing Presto with StarRocks, query performance accelerated by 10x to 2000x using StarRocks' materialized views, saving resources and eliminating the need for real-time pipelines. 📊 Data Go: A codeless platform enabling business users to build queries across data models (tables and columns). Multi-table join queries were a challenge with Presto, consuming time and resources. With StarRocks, performance improved by 3 to 10x, and CPU usage dropped by 60% compared to Presto. 📈Data Studio: Shopee’s data development platform supports both ad-hoc and scheduled data jobs.
