Feeling energized after an inspiring week with pioneers and advocates in cell and gene therapy, discussing how we can collectively expand access to these innovative treatments. To fully unlock the potential of these scientific breakthroughs, we need to rethink commercialization models across the value chain. At #CGMesa24, I joined Bob Shelley and Chris Stevens in exploring actionable steps to bring therapies to the community setting and enhance patient support post-treatment. Big thanks to Whitney Ijem for moderating our panel so effortlessly. At Cencora’s Health Systems National Summit, I connected with Tay Salimullah and Rox Gatia to explore collaboration between biopharma and health systems, aiming to broaden the adoption of cell and gene therapies in more treatment centers. And at the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy meeting, I had the privilege of joining an all-day cell and gene workshop spearheaded by Kirby Eng and Joe Morse. Together with my fellow panelists, we explored how specialty pharmacies can evolve to play a pivotal role in delivering these therapies. Most of all, it was incredible to reconnect with old colleagues, make new connections, and spend quality time with the amazing Cencora team!
