Having an elevator pitch ready for our annual Bellevue College Networking & Job fair this Wednesday, May 8th, will ensure you maximize your time with each employer! 1. Start by introducing yourself. "Hello my name is _______, and I am a student at Bellevue College." 2. Next, provide your educational background. "I am currently studying _____," or "I have a degree in _____." 3. It is important that you are upfront with your objectives. "I am seeking a job or internship in ______." Include the position or industry that you are seeking. 4. Aside from your background, it is also important to provide employers with relevant skills and strengths. "I am skilled at_____." Remember to include skills that would be relevant to the position you are seeking. 5. Now, provide employers with the opportunity to tell YOU what they offer. "What opportunities are available?" Remember, this is just the foundation to build your elevator pitch.
