HEOR training for health professionals

About us

The Center for Health Outcomes and PharmacoEconomic Research (HOPE Center) assesses health care interventions from a clinical, economic and humanistic view. Established in 1986, the HOPE center collaborates with researchers, academic institutions, health care organizations and pharmaceutical firms worldwide. We offer HEOR training for professionals whose job responsibilities include the application or interpretation of pharmacoeconomic information. The curriculum is for individuals with entry to intermediate knowledge level. Attendance continues to be generated through recommendations from previous attendees. In addition, we develop customized programming (both in-person and self-paced online modules) for teams from one organization based on their specific needs and available time commitment.

Updates

  • After 25 years of developing and offering training programs in the health outcomes space, it is time to say goodbye from the University of Arizona Center for Health Outcomes & PharmacoEconomic Research (HOPE Center) training unit. We closed effective January 17, 2024. Thank you to all who supported us over the years. We loved teaching training programs, working alongside grad students, and interacting with those interested in HEOR.     While we are leaving the University of Arizona, we remain dedicated to the HEOR field and hope to develop a partnership to continue providing HEOR training. We will post the information on Amy Grizzle’s and Jason Hurwitz’s linked in accounts. During this time of transition, messaging to HEORtraining@pharmacy.arizona.edu will be forwarded to us. Should you or colleagues have any questions or training needs you’d like to discuss, please don’t hesitate to contact us.  For now, we say THANK YOU for staying connected with us over the years.    Amy, Jason, and Lynne https://lnkd.in/gKECeBpD https://lnkd.in/gyJgSC6J Mascarel@Arizona.edu
