We are happy to welcome to our team, Jason Shininger! We are very excited to announce that Jason has joined CIFT as our new Project Manager — Food Operations! With over twenty years of experience at Conagra Brands, Jason brings a history of driving operational improvements and overseeing complex plant expansions. His leadership in driving maximum Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), relocating production lines, and integrating leading processing systems will enhance our team as we continue to help Ohio's food processors and manufacturers scale and compete. He has been working to champion Autonomous Maintenance as part of the Total Productive Maintenance strategy throughout his career. He has successfully implemented these kinds of team initiatives and integrated them into daily operations, fostering a culture of problem-solving and efficiency. He will bring expertise in helping drive innovation and growth for the clients we serve across Ohio. Based in Bryan, Ohio, Jason lives with his wife Kari and their three daughters, Emma, Lillian, and Addilyn. He is a proud alumnus of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's in Industrial Systems Engineering. Off the clock, one can find him on the family farm and working on building custom performance motorcycles. Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far: Higher Yields: Our FarmBot-managed tomato production is already surpassing that of our non-FarmBot plots. Zero Pesticides: We’ve managed to achieve these results without using any pesticides, supporting a more sustainable approach to urban farming. Weed-Free Success: Thanks to FarmBot’s precision, we’ve eliminated all weeds, reducing the labor required and ensuring healthier plants.
