Earlier this year, USAID's Countering Transnational Corruption Grand Challenge for Development partnered on the Southeast Asian regional #HackCorruption event led by Accountability Lab in Malaysia and Indonesia. Three of the winning teams - Integrity Eyes, Lexicon ID, and Carbonitor - focused their digital tools on addressing transnational corruption challenges. They've been hard at work building out their innovative solutions, addressing challenges and learning valuable lessons along the way. In the blog below, they reflect on their tools, the challenges they faced, and their long-term goals. We're excited to see how each innovation continues to progress! Special thanks to the American Evaluation Association for organizing an outstanding #Eval2024 conference. Our Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning, Rola Abdullatif, represented CIPE on the panel, "Better Together: Elevating Evaluation and Learning Through Collaboration," hosted by the National Endowment for Democracy. Experts from the International Republican Institute, the National Democratic Institute (NDI), and the Solidarity Center joined her. Rola presented findings from a CIPE evaluation on Crisis Response and Resilience, which looked at how CIPE programs help strengthen partner organizations' abilities to endure crises and enhance their resilience for the future.
