Today, CIPE launched the WEE-Learn: Women’s Economic Empowerment Leadership through Advocacy Regional Networks workshop, a bold initiative uniting inspiring women leaders from 14 countries. Insightful remarks from Heather Rogers, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Slovakia, and Jeff Lightfoot, Deputy Director of CIPE Europe & Eurasia, highlighted the power of women to bring lasting changes to their communities through partnerships and advocacy. Participants engaged in dynamic sessions that explored the fundamentals of advocacy and how to create a meaningful impact for women in business in their countries. A panel featuring WE-Champs partners from Moldova, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Camelia Bulat, a mentor for a Nigerian organization, shared compelling success stories from the respective regions, showcasing how strategic advocacy strengthens women’s economic participation. Attendees also had the opportunity to showcase their unique local products, followed by a vibrant cultural attire display that celebrated the diversity and unity of women leaders. This is only the beginning. Stay with us for what promises to be an extraordinary three-day journey into leadership and transformation. This event is part of the "Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem by Networking Regional Women’s Chambers of Commerce and Business Associations" (WE-Champs) project, funded by the U.S. Department of State - Secretary's Office of Global Women's Issues.
