Telefèric Barcelona has officially opened its doors at 2ND & PCH, bringing the rich flavors and vibrant atmosphere of Spain's Catalan region to Long Beach! Led by siblings Xavi and Maria Padrosa, this highly anticipated restaurant offers an authentic Spanish dining experience—no passport required.
Known for its signature tapas, paellas, and coastal cuisine with a California twist, Telefèric Barcelona promises to be a standout destination. Designed by Maria Padrosa and Trenchs Studios, the restaurant blends Mediterranean and Pacific influences, featuring warm tones, handcrafted Spanish ceramics, and a stunning mural by Spanish artist Toni Obra.
To celebrate their opening, Telefèric Barcelona hosted two exciting launch events: a media and press night on September 19th, where local press, food bloggers, and influencers enjoyed a 9-course tapas menu, and a community ribbon-cutting celebration and cocktail party on September 20th. Telefèric Barcelona has already captured the attention of publications like Long Beach Press Telegram, Daily Breeze, Whittier Daily News, and Orange County Register.
This new 125-seat culinary gem joins popular restaurants like A PCH, The Bungalow, and Ola Mexican Kitchen at 2ND & PCH. Guests can savor dishes such as Patatas Bravas, Croquettes, Gambas al Ajillo, and Lobster Paella, expertly crafted by Executive Chef Oscar Cabezas. The beverage program also impresses with Spanish wines, innovative gin and tonic cocktails, and house-made sangrias like the Sangria Barceloneta.
Come experience this unique culinary journey to Spain—right here in Long Beach!
