About us

All children come into this world with tremendous potential. Their healthy growth and development depends on the quality of relations they experience with the adults around them - their families, caregivers, educators, health care providers, and others - during the first five years of their lives, even before they're born. As a community of people that care deeply about infant and early childhood mental health, it is crucial that we continue to strengthen our relationships, our capacity to coordinate our work, and shared ability to respond to the varying needs of our diverse workforce. We envision the Center for Early Relational Health to be a resource community for those who work with babies, young children, and their families to connect, learn, share knowledge, and deepen their skills. The Center will also be a space to inspire and cultivate ideas to transform how we all support infants, children, and their families.
