The Level Up Small Business Program encourages female entrepreneurs to connect and support one other in addition to offering practical tips for launching or expanding a business. Na’Kedra Rogers, an inspiring alumna and successful motivational speaker, returned to serve as a panelist for Level Up Pitch Night. She offered insightful feedback to other entrepreneurs as they “pitched” their businesses. We’re proud to have alumni like Na’Kedra come back to pay it forward! Na’Kedra encourages, inspires and connects with women who are struggling in their faith or searching for their purpose. Visit her website to follow her journey: https://lnkd.in/gPHN5GuD Thank you for celebrating female entrepreneurs with us during National Women’s Business Month!

It was an honor to team up with Center for Transforming Lives Chief Development Officer, Kris Canfield (LC23) to offer exclusive hard hat tours of the Center for Transforming Lives’ new Riverside Campus to #LFWAlumniAssociation members and friends last week! The transformation of the Montgomery Wards building and warehouse is set to revitalize the corner of S. Riverside and Berry. Hearing from Carol Hunter Klocek about how this new campus will serve as a catalyst for CTL’s mission to support women and children was truly inspiring. A special thanks to Anne Hilty, her colleague Elida, and the entire on-site team from Linbeck Group, LLC for their help in making these tours possible. #CommunityTrusteeship #LFW #FortWorthCommunity #NonprofitLeadership #CommunityDevelopment #FortWorth See more photos here: https://lnkd.in/gyPrKffV?

What a day! Our annual All Staff meeting is the only day when every member of our team comes together in fellowship. We learned together, laughed together, cried together during "mission moments," celebrated milestones and achievements, and set our focus on our mission: partnering with single mothers and their children so they can thrive. You will not find a more compassionate, hard working or inspiring team than the team at Center for Transforming Lives!

Our Level Up Small Business Program was started to support women in zip codes that simultaneously have the highest rates of poverty and highest rates of self-employment. Many of these businesses are created by women as “side-hustles” to support their families. The Level Up Small Business Program offers comprehensive business coaching for these entrepreneurs to start or expand their small businesses. Natalia Dominguez, creator of Creative Muse Arting, empowers individuals to explore and express their creativity through personalized Arting Methods Process workshops. Check out Natalia's website to book a workshop! https://lnkd.in/g5Np9rST In honor of National Women's Small Business Month, we are highlighting Level Up alumni throughout October. One significant way you can celebrate and support women-owned businesses like Natalia's is by sharing this post!
