CMMC Team Members Show Life-Changing Generosity 💙 In less than a year, Corie, an anesthesiology tech at CMMC, has become known for his positivity and dedication. But behind the scenes, Corie was facing a silent struggle, piecing together rides to get to work. When his team learned of his situation, they knew they had to help. Led by Tina Moring, CRNA, the team rallied together and raised $11,000 in just 10 days—far surpassing their goal. With these generous contributions, they bought Corie a 2015 Nissan Rogue, covering registration and insurance. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Corie shared, “This has truly changed my life.” This heartfelt gesture is a testament to the compassion and support that make our CMMC family so special. 💙 Watch the emotional moment on video here: https://lnkd.in/eVSJ7Qrv #CMMCFamily #TeamSupport #Grateful

🕯️ The nursing team at CMMC lit the candles in the window above the Emergency Room again tonight at 7:24 p.m., the time the first patient arrived on October 25. Your doctors, nurses, friends, family and neighbors are here with you, Lewiston. Just like we were when you needed us most. 💙 #CMMCstrong #LewistonStrong #OneLewiston

💙 Today, team members gathered in the halls of CMMC, a year since the tragedy in Lewiston that changed so many lives. Together, we honored the strength, skill, and unwavering compassion that helped us through that dark night. Standing side by side, we remembered the lives lost, celebrated the lives saved, and shared a moment of silence to acknowledge the weight we still carry. 💙 https://lnkd.in/e49qBu2t #CMMCstrong #LewistonStrong #HereForOurCommunity #OneLewiston

A year ago, our community faced an unimaginable tragedy—the deadliest mass casualty event in Maine’s history. It was a moment that shook us all, but in that darkness, we also saw incredible strength. Surgeons, nurses, and team members from across our health system came together and saved 13 lives that night. Whether through lifesaving care or quiet acts of compassion, every effort mattered. And as the sun rose the next day, we continued to care for our patients and each other. We were deeply moved by the outpouring of support from our neighbors and businesses—food, flowers, kind words, and prayers. One year later, we remain incredibly grateful for the strength and unity that defines this community. Thank you for standing with us in the darkest moments, for supporting us, and for showing that in the face of tragedy, we can come together when it matters most. 💙 #LewistonStrong #CMMCstrong #CommunityHeals #CMHCares #WhenItMatteredMost

💙 The "One Lewiston" Commemorative Blood Drive Continues! The "One Lewiston" blood drive at Central Maine Medical Center saw incredible support, with all donor slots filled. But the effort to collect 1025 units of blood continues through the Red Cross’ virtual "Sleeves Up" campaign. This drive honors those impacted by the tragic events of October 25, 2023. You can still help from anywhere by donating blood virtually. 💻 Donate here: https://lnkd.in/e4-fqbPr If you’re unable to give blood, please consider supporting CMH’s Compassionate Care Fund. https://lnkd.in/eBpX9mJF #OneLewiston #DonateBlood #CommunityHealing #SleevesUp Pictured: Steve Littleson, president and CEO, Central Maine Healthcare, urging people to participate in the Red Cross “Sleeves Up” campaign
