On its second anniversary, the #InflationReductionAct is underpinning an American manufacturing renaissance. That's great news for the climate and the economy -- and also for the continued momentum of the law itself as it gains support across the political aisle. We applaud the leadership of the investors and business organizations submitting briefs today supporting the landmark U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) climate risk disclosure rule. They are sending a clear message from the business community that standardized climate-related disclosures are not just desired, but essential for sound investment decisions and risk management. The rule, adopted in March 2024, responds to investors’ need and overwhelming demand for clear, consistent, and comparable climate reporting from companies. Standardized disclosures in financial filings will significantly improve the current patchwork of voluntary disclosures. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gKuUdZ4c
