October 14-18, 2024 is Construction Inclusion Week! This annual, industry-wide awareness effort aims to create collective safe spaces for difficult conversations, provide educational insights, and to foster a more inclusive construction industry. As Suicide Prevention Months comes to a close, remember year-round that a conversation about depression, stress, or suicide might be one of the toughest to initiate - but sometimes it’s necessary to do hard things to help people we care about. Normalizing mental health care and asking for help is the first step in raising awareness and preventing suicides. Workplaces and individuals can help suicide prevention by encouraging supportive relationships and responding to those who may be in need.
