It is with deep sorrow that we remember John Cahill, a founding partner of CGO Solutions. His life was a testament to kindness, humility, and unwavering love for those around him. John touched countless lives with his generosity, quick wit, and quiet wisdom, always offering a listening ear or a helping hand when needed. Many of us had the opportunity to be mentored by John during his 30+ years in the industry. John had such a wealth of knowledge and loved to share with those around him. He was a passionate fan of the New England Patriots, he loved traveling with his wife Paula, and daughters Chloe and Emily and always loved a good Manhattan. As we say goodbye, we are comforted by the memories he leaves behind. His legacy of compassion and integrity will live on in our hearts, reminding us to live fully and love deeply, just as he did. John’s absence will be felt profoundly, but his spirit will continue to inspire all of us. May he rest in peace, and may his family find solace in the love and admiration that surround them during this difficult time. Services will be held on Friday, October 11, at 2pm at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, located at 4300 King Springs Rd SE, Smyrna, GA 30082 Rest in peace, John Cahill. Retail property owners often say, "The Juice is not worth the Squeeze," regarding adding EV charging stations. Sometimes I think this is written down in some common retail/commercial real estate handbook. They worry about maintenance, outdated technology, and losing parking spaces for ICE vehicles. All which are valid. When I present proposals for stall rent or revenue sharing from CPOs, owners typically have no capex/opex expenses, but yet the stall rent is not enough or are hesitant due to the unknown utilization risks, even if revenue sharing could surpass fixed stall rent and be more profitable. My question is: How much juice is worth the squeeze?! If you operate EV chargers or own retail property with EV charging stations, what is your average monthly net revenue or stall rent?
