Our crews are working diligently to restore power in the aftermath of hurricanes #Helene and #Milton. We understand the challenges our team faces during storm restoration. Long hours and tough conditions can lead to fatigue, impacting both safety and efficiency. Here are some key strategies to help combat fatigue: 😴Adequate Rest: Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep and take short naps during breaks. 🍎Healthy Nutrition: Eat balanced meals and stay hydrated. ⏱️Regular Breaks: Take scheduled breaks to rest, stretch, and recharge. 🏋️Stay Active: Engage in light physical activity and stretching exercises. 👩⚕️Monitor Your Health: Pay attention to your body’s signals and use available health resources. 🤝Team Support: Look out for each other and communicate openly about fatigue levels. Thank you, linemen for your hard work and sacrifices to restore power to our communities. Let’s work together to stay safe and effective. 💪 #ChainElectric #SafetyFirst #StormRestoration #Teamwork #StormSeason #HurricaneHelene #HurricaneMilton #ThankALineman

🌍 Happy VINCI Environment Day! 🌍 VINCI Environment Day aims to raise awareness about sustainable materials and solutions, enhancing environmental impact and tender success. At Chain Electric Company and PrimeLine Utility Services, we are committed to safeguarding our local environment throughout every phase of construction. In November 2022, Chain Electric embarked on the Naval Base to North Padre Island TAP project across the Laguna Madre for AEP Texas. The Laguna Madre is a rare hypersaline lagoon environment, home to endangered species like sea turtles and manatees. Our mission was to upgrade electrical infrastructure while preserving this unique ecosystem. For the North Padre Island Marine Transmission project, we employed innovative techniques and meticulous planning to protect the environment: 🌿 Airboats & Flexi Floats: Minimized ecosystem disturbance. 🐢 Protecting Mangroves & Wetlands: Utilized mats and air bridges to protect the local seagrass. 🚤 Reducing Barge Presence: Limited the time our barges were present in shallow waters. 🦅 Additional Measures: Flagged cranes for bird safety & implemented “Stop Work” protocols for manatees and sea turtles. This project was spearheaded by our VP of Transmission, Scott Taylor, alongside our Director of Project Management, Jonathan Turnage. Our success was made possible through our collaboration with Vice Construction and Ken’s Airboats. Our efforts have positioned Chain Electric as a leader in sustainable energy projects, achieving zero harm to endangered species, protecting seagrass, and preserving biodiversity. 🌟We are proud that we were able to play a small part in global conservation efforts to save endangered wildlife and limit damage to protected seagrass. Let’s protect our planet together! 🌍 🌱💧 #EcologicalRestoration #NaturalEnvironments #MarineConservation #WildlifeConservation #EnergyForward #Airboats #Transmission #UtilityConstruction #LagunaMadre #PadreIslandNationalSeashore #VINCIEnvironmentDay #VINCI #VINCIEnergies #ChainElectric #PrimeLineUtilityServices #AEPTexas

🔊 Hearing Loss Warning Signs 🔊 Most people don’t notice warning signs until it’s too late. If loud noises don’t bother you as much as they used to, you might have already lost some hearing. The human ear is very sensitive and can perceive even the smallest differences in sound intensity. However, we may not always be aware of just how loud sounds can be. 🚨 Noise Levels to Watch Out For 🚨 🏡 90 dB: Lawnmowers, power tools 🎵 110 dB: Concerts, car horns ✈️ 120 dB: Jet planes during takeoff 🚧 130 dB: Jackhammers, ambulance sirens 🎆 140 dB: Gunshots, fireworks Protect your ears! 🦻 Most people don’t feel any warning signs (like pain or ringing in your ears) until their hearing is already damaged. If you think your ears can adjust to the noise, think again. Stay safe and be aware of your surroundings! #HearingSafety #WorkplaceWellness #ChainElectricCompany #ProvenSafe #ProvenPower #Safety6cess
