On this Juneteenth, ChangeTheWealth.org commemorates the day in 1865, when freedom finally reached all enslaved African Americans. This day marks a critical moment in the fight for equality. Since that day, however, significant obstacles have continued to prevent wealth-building in Black communities. Promises of reparations like '40 Acres and a Mule' were broken….the Freedman's Bank, established to help freed slaves build financial security, failed and left many in financial ruin….and the more recent practice of Redlining systematically denied Black families the opportunity to own homes and build generational wealth. As we honor the past, ChangeTheWealth.org is dedicated to addressing these injustices and fostering economic empowerment for a more equitable future. We believe in a world where everyone has the opportunity to build wealth. Our mission is to incubate, launch, and scale business solutions that create transformative wealth. Wealth inequality is a defining challenge of our time. It is a key indicator of a person’s path in life. Those with more wealth have more income, higher education, and less sickness. They also live longer…as much as 20 years! The wealth gap is a life gap, giving urgency to solutions that actually move the needle. Aside from sweeping policy change, the only way to close the wealth gap is to redesign existing structures. With foresight and imagination, the flow of money can be disrupted and wealth redistributed. Our first business solution - “Impact Franchising” - does this in a transformative way. “Impact Franchising'' was designed by our founders to close the racial wealth gap through the power of inclusive business ownership. The franchise model was invented to replicate successful businesses by democratizing asset ownership...and it works! No other industry is as uniquely suited to tackle wealth inequality, and our founders are deeply experienced in this segment. The goal of this significant undertaking and what drives us every day is to increase the income and wealth of aspiring leaders from the bottom 40% to the top 20% of all Americans. By the end of a 10-year franchise agreement, we mentor, coach, and support these leaders to become business owners who earn: (1) annual income growth of 15% (versus 4% Florida and 7% national averages) (2) annual income well over $100,000 (3) business equity valued at $400,000 This significant jump in financial status is life-changing, not only for our beneficiaries but generations to come.
