    🎆 What is your spirit animal? 🎆 That was the stupid interview question a friend's daughter was asked by a hiring manager a few years back. How do you handle silly questions by hiring managers that really don't pertain to the job? 💡Consider if you want to work for someone that asks dumb questions. Assuming it is "yes" or "I really need the job" then: 1. Ask for clarification about what they're hoping to gain from the question. 2. Formulate an answer that delivers on what they're trying to get to with maybe a twist of humor. In this case, I suggested for her a great answer was "bitch." It works because (A) it's an animal; (B) it implies a strong female, which described my friend's daughter; and (C) it uses humor to undercut both the question and the stereotype of how strong women are perceived differently than men.
