Gratitude and excitement in equal measure today, with the Vennfi, Inc. team joining forces with Foundation Source to create a single provider of modern, innovative, cloud-based solutions to administrate DAFs, private foundations, and planned giving. One can’t help but reflect on the five-year journey and countless first-time founder lessons learned. A surprising source of satisfaction that emerged was the feedback from our team about the culture we cultivated over time. We have a few stated values up on the proverbial bulletin board, but one that always mattered greatly to me was “Give your best, not your all.” Stephen and I shared a belief that, if our team members brought their best thinking, creativity, and effort to their work — but explicitly not every last bit of their time and effort — that we would build a virtuous rhythm of labor and rest that would honor our people and enable them to do some of the best work of their careers. It seems like it worked. We’re fired up to continue bringing our best in service of Foundation Source’s existing clients, alongside their great team and leadership. So, while there are a lot of people I have reason to thank today, I want to give it up to the ones who lived our values, built our culture, and created innovative and novel software in the DAF space from the ground-up. Edmundo Santos Kathleen Williams Robert Romano Rebecca Jacobs Todd May Nathan Griffin Raul Silva Lucas Neves Thank you, team!

A new chapter! 📕 After nearly 5 years, building the world’s best team, doing Y-Combinator, raising multiple rounds of capital, and facilitating $155M to charity — Our venture Vennfi, Inc., which builds fintech for the donor-advised fund space and powers Charityvest, is joining forces with Foundation Source. Charityvest will continue on as-is, just with more power behind it! And with this partnership, we’ll combine strengths with Foundation Source — serving financial institutions, companies, and donors with the best of private foundations and DAFs from one place. One of the things we’ve said from the beginning: in giving, the tools matter. 🛠️ Can’t wait to build even stronger tools for many more folks in this partnership. Thanks to the many folks who have helped us get to this point below in the comments. 🙏 #philanthropy #dafs #givepurposefully #begiving
