Job seekers Here’s another tip.. Don’t underestimate the power of your network. I always tell people: NETWORK, NETWORK, NETWORK! Building relationships and staying connected can open doors you didn’t even know existed. A quick coffee chat, a LinkedIn message, or attending industry events might seem small, but these connections often lead to opportunities you wouldn’t find on job boards. Stay engaged, reach out, and keep those connections alive. You never know which one might lead to your next big career move! #jobseeking

Job seekers Here’s some advice.. When a recruiter reaches out and is transparent about the salary, job description, and company -take the call! Why not? Even if you’re not actively looking, it never hurts to listen. I know candidates who weren’t job hunting and still landed roles that completely changed their lives. Sometimes the best opportunities come when you’re not expecting them. #jobseeking

Recruiter: "Hi there! I’d love to discuss a great opportunity with a competitive salary. Let’s hop on a call to go over the details." Candidate: "Thanks for reaching out! Could you share the salary range upfront before we schedule a call?" Recruiter: "We prefer to discuss that during the call, once we get to know the candidate better." Candidate: "I appreciate that, but having the salary range early would help me determine if this role aligns with my goals before we move forward." Recruiter: "Let’s just hop on a call and discuss the details. We can cover everything then." Candidate: "No, thank you. I really need to know the salary range upfront to make sure it makes sense. I don’t want to waste your time or mine." My biggest pet peeve is when recruiters avoid salary details like this! Salary is KEY for candidates when deciding if a role is worth considering. Even if clients don’t provide a specific number for you, be transparent about that too. It’s all about being upfront and efficient, saving time, and showing respect for the candidate’s decision-making process.

HR: "We’d like to offer you $135,000 for the position." Candidate: "That’s fantastic! Does the role include flexible working arrangements?" HR: "Actually, we prefer all employees to work from the office every day, with minimal flexibility." Candidate: "Is there any chance of a hybrid option, or even occasional remote days?" HR: "Unfortunately, our current policy is strictly in-office." Candidate: "In that case, I’ll have to pass on the offer." Key takeaway: Be transparent about your expectations from the beginning. But here’s the thing.. People’s priorities have evolved. Flexibility in where and how work gets done can be a dealbreaker for many. While companies need to adapt, as a candidate, make sure you’re asking the right questions upfront during the interview process!! Understanding the company’s policies on flexibility, remote work, or hybrid options early on can save you from potential disappointment later. It’s a two-way street. Know what matters to you and apply to roles that align with your values and work preferences. Thoughts? . . . Repost if you agree

HR: "We're excited to consider you for this role with a competitive salary." Candidate: "Could you share the salary range upfront?" HR: "We typically wait until later in the process to discuss salary specifics, once we've confirmed a candidate is a good fit." Candidate: "Having that information early would really help me assess if this opportunity aligns with my goals, both career-wise and financially." HR: "Our policy is to only disclose salary at the offer stage." Candidate: "In that case, I'll need to prioritize opportunities that are upfront about compensation from the start." Transparency around salary isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s a key factor for many professionals when deciding whether to pursue an opportunity. By delaying this information, companies risk losing qualified candidates who prioritize openness. Offering salary details upfront can speed up the hiring process, reduce mismatched expectations, and demonstrate that the company values transparency and respect. In the long run, it builds trust and attracts the right talent. Thoughts?? . . . Repost if you agree

The focus should be on outcomes, not where or how long people sit Let's prioritize results, not outdated norms..

Leadership trying to CANCEL all REMOTE work? Here’s the reality: Employees don’t want to: * Sit in traffic for hours wasting their lives * Face commute stress * Deal with the office noise and distractions. * Incur increased expenses as gas, lunches, etc. * Be micromanaged. No COMMUTE means HAPPIER employees. Focus on RESULTS not hours spent behind a physical desk. Agree?
