BIG NEWS, DREW FAM! Did you know Drew will be making a mark on Capitol Hill tomorrow?! Our incredible Senior Academy engineering teacher, Beth White, will showcase the innovative coursework and student projects developed by our students at the National Science Foundation’s Artificial Intelligence Congressional showcase in Washington, D.C.! Ms. White has collaborated with Georgia Institute of Technology professor Pascal Van Hentenryck for the past three years to develop an AI unit for our Engineering Concepts students. Students have built image recognition models using cutting-edge deep learning techniques and a custom device our own Mr. Ayers created! They’ve even made field trips to Georgia Tech and served as counselors at the Seth Bonder camp this summer! Congratulations to Ms. White and her brilliant students for leading the way in AI education! We are so proud!
