Knowing how to use a fire extinguisher can save lives and property! Here’s a quick guide on the P.A.S.S. technique to help you respond effectively in an emergency: ✅ P - Pull the pin: This unlocks the extinguisher. Hold the nozzle away from you! ✅ A - Aim low: Point the nozzle at the base of the fire. This is where the flames are strongest! ✅ S - Squeeze the handle: Apply pressure to release the extinguishing agent. Don’t be afraid to use some muscle! ✅ S - Sweep from side to side: Move the nozzle back and forth at the base of the fire until it’s fully out. Remember, only tackle small fires!
