  • Some lucky members of Charter Mechanical's Arizona team recently enjoyed a night of team building at the new Andretti's Indoor Karting and Games in Chandler. This team has great cause for a night of celebration. As Charter’s Arizona operation continues to grow rapidly, we want to thank everyone on our Southwest team for their hard work and dedication to our success. Notably, among Charter’s milestones in Arizona is our new fabrication facility, a 42,000 square foot facility includes fabrication areas for low purity stainless tube, high purity stainless tube, high purity PVDF, PP, PVC, CPVC, strut assembly, and assembly of modules. Also located in this facility is our Arizona VDC team. To learn more about Charter Mechanical, our Arizona operation and our corporate culture, please visit www.chartermechanical.com.

  • Charter Mechanical is a proud member and supporter of the Safebuild Alliance and its commitment to transforming workplace cultures to achieve incident-free construction projects. Notably, Charter's Safety Director Amme Standring is part of the Safebuild Alliance’s leadership. She has served on the board of directors since 2006 and also serves as the secretary for their Executive Committee. Charter was honored to sponsor and play in the Safebuild Alliance’s annual golf tournament yesterday at Langdon Farms Golf Club in Aurora. The great weather made for a great day on the links with our industry peers. Charter Mechanical was proud to participate in this event as part of our overall support for safety in the construction industry.

  • Charter is proud to announce the winners of this year’s Ed O’Kelly Scholarships: Taylor Hendrix and Hadley Washburn. Both are the daughters of Charter Mechanical employees. Taylor graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oregon in spring of 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a certificate of Secondary Education. She will be continuing her studies at the University of Oregon this fall. After completing her master’s program, her goal is to teach High School Government. Hadley is a renewing recipient this year, as she continues her studies in Computer Science at Portland State University. Her goal after graduation is to become a software engineer and learn how to use artificial intelligence in a positive way to help solve problems in business and in the world. The Ed O’Kelly Scholarships provide up to $10,000 per academic year to eligible children of Charter employees who are pursuing a post-secondary education at accredited institutions in the United States, including trade schools and four-year colleges or universities.   Mr. O’Kelly is Charter Mechanical’s founding President. He created the Ed O’Kelly Scholarship Fund to provide an opportunity for the children of Charter Mechanical employees to assist with continuing education for selected and qualifying students.    Charter extends our congratulations to this year’s already accomplished winners and thanks Ed O’Kelly for his generosity in making this scholarship program available.

  • It was another great night of team building for some lucky Charter Mechanical employees at last night’s Hillsboro Hops game. The heat wave cooled off just in time to enjoy the suite experience in the Batter’s Box with colleagues and a few friends. Many thanks to the Hops for the great food, drinks and another fun night out with our hometown team. • Charter Mechanical is pleased to announce that we have been honored with Highwire’s prestigious Platinum Safety Award. Highwire is the Contractor Success platform for builders and owners of capital projects. Less than 5% of over 50,000 contractors in Highwire receive this recognition every year. Charter Mechanical is proud to receive the Platinum Safety Award from Highwire. We thank our employees for all the work they do every day to keep us safe on the job.   The Platinum Safety Award is presented to companies who score between 95-100 on the Safety Assessment administered by Highwire. Highwire’s Safety Assessment reviews a company’s historic and current safety performance. The program provides a thorough, objective, and consistent evaluation of company performance so clients and contractors can identify, monitor, and mitigate risks more effectively. The results provide a strong indicator of how a contractor values safety and serve as a reliable predictor of future performance. • Charter Mechanical’s Arizona team took time out on Friday to observe the final day of Safety Week and pose for a group photo. Since Charter opened our operation in Arizona two years ago, this growing team has been hard at work on one of our newest and rapidly growing projects. They have come a long way in a short time, all while prioritizing safety. As we reflect on a busy Construction Safety Week, Charter would like to recognize our Arizona team for their hard work and personal dedication to our culture of safety, all year round. #ConstructionSafetyWeek
