🌟 Celebrating Leadership, Dedication, and Excellence in Hospitality 🌟 We are beyond proud to recognize Shannon Worley Heflenberger, Corporate Sales Manager at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs, who has just been awarded Lodging Manager of the Year by the Tennessee Lodging & Tourism Association! Shannon has been an integral part of the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs team for the past 18 years, with the exception of a brief period during Covid, when instead of staying home, she stepped up as the opening AGM at Hampton Inn Capital View. Her commitment to our Chartwell Hospitality family over the past 6 years and her storied career in hospitality, which began at the Stouffer Hotel (now Renaissance Nashville) at the front desk, exemplify her extraordinary leadership and work ethic. Shannon is more than just a Sales Manager—she is the heart and soul of the hotel. Her can-do attitude, dedication to fostering a positive work environment, and unwavering commitment to her community have made her a beloved figure among guests, colleagues, and community members alike. Her work with ART HELPS Cancer is just one example of her deep care for others, as she leads efforts to provide comfort and care to those going through chemotherapy with her thoughtful Care Caddy amenity bags. Her selflessness and drive to make a difference, whether inside the hotel or within the community, truly set her apart. Shannon’s career is a testament to her relentless dedication. From mentoring new employees, stepping in wherever needed, to creating lasting relationships with guests, Shannon has never hesitated to go the extra mile. She exemplifies what it means to be a true leader in hospitality—someone who sees her role as much more than a job, but as an opportunity to make a positive impact every single day. We are incredibly honored to have Shannon as part of the Chartwell Hospitality family and can’t wait to see all the incredible things she will continue to accomplish. Congratulations, Shannon—you are an inspiration to us all! #ChartwellHospitality #LodgingManagerOfTheYear #FranklinMarriottCoolSprings #HospitalityLeadership #CommunityChampion #ExcellenceInService #ArtHelpsCancer #SalesSuccess #LeadershipInAction

🌟 As we wrap up our reflections on last week’s International Housekeeping Week, one thing stands out: showing appreciation for our housekeeping teams isn’t something that should be limited to just one week. It’s something that needs to be part of our everyday culture. At Chartwell Hospitality, our housekeepers are the heart and soul of our hotels, and their dedication impacts not only our guests but also the entire team. Throughout last week, we saw incredible creativity from our management teams in expressing their gratitude. Some locations went beyond the usual celebrations, hosting events like ice cream parties 🍦, bed-making contests  🛏️, and even Chipotle lunches. Others chose to provide fresh, local fruits 🍊 and vegetables 🥕 , setting up mini farmers markets for their teams to enjoy. These thoughtful, unique gestures made each team member feel truly valued. When appreciation is consistently shown, it creates a ripple effect. It boosts morale, inspires camaraderie, and enhances the guest experience. A strong team is built on everyday acts of recognition and support, not just one week of celebration. Let’s continue to uplift our housekeeping teams and all our team members for the vital role they play, each and every day.

International Housekeeping Week was last week, but the gratitude and respect we have for our housekeepers continue to grow. At Hampton Inn & Suites Colorado Springs/I-25 South and Home2 Suites Colorado Springs South, the management teams truly elevated their celebrations, creating memorable moments that went far beyond the traditional pizza party. The team was treated to an ice cream party that brought smiles to everyone's faces, followed by a fun and competitive bed-making contest that showcased their skills and dedication in a lighthearted way. To top it off, they enjoyed a Chipotle lunch, adding a personal touch to the week’s celebrations. These thoughtful gestures show just how much the management teams value the hard work and commitment of their housekeeping staff. At Chartwell Hospitality, we believe in going beyond the standard to ensure our teams feel genuinely appreciated, creating moments that will be remembered long after the week has passed.

International Housekeeping Week was last week, but the gratitude we feel for our housekeepers extends far beyond those seven days. The photos from our hotels tell a story of teamwork, respect, and sincere appreciation. Our housekeepers ensure every guest feels welcome, and our teams made sure they felt just as valued in return. The Homewood Suites Denton team went all out to honor their hardworking housekeepers. The week was filled with personalized celebrations, including themed lunches, surprise giveaways, and team-building activities that brought everyone closer. At Homewood Suites Denton, the team made sure their incredible housekeepers felt valued every step of the way. These moments of appreciation reflect our sincere respect for the dedicated individuals who keep our hotel running smoothly day in and day out.

Reflecting on last week’s International Housekeeping Week, I’m proud to see how our teams went above and beyond to recognize the dedication of our housekeepers. The Franklin Marriott Cool Springs team truly exemplified this spirit with a week full of thoughtful celebrations. They kicked off the week with a Chick-fil-A Restaurants breakfast courtesy of United Staffing, followed by a sweet treat break on Tuesday with root beer floats and ice cream sundaes. Midweek, the team refueled with a delicious lunch of hamburgers and hotdogs with all the fixings. Thursday brought a morning ‘mimosa’ toast and inspirational gifts from the Sales Team, followed by a fun-filled afternoon of games like ‘Price is Right,’ Soap Stack, and a Sweeping Obstacle Course. Despite a busy Friday with 257 checkouts, the team kept their energy up thanks to Dunkin Donuts provided by 53rd bank, and ended the week with lunch totes packed with treats and heartfelt thank you cards from the front office. Stay tuned as we continue to share more inspiring ways our hotels celebrated their incredible housekeeping teams last week. 🎶 "Team Effort" Earle Belo

Last week, we celebrated International Housekeeping Week, and the outpouring of appreciation from our 34 hotels was nothing short of inspiring. A special shoutout to the Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View team, who led the region in cleanliness for the quarter with an impressive 94.8% and achieved an outstanding 96% on their Quality Assurance Inspection last month! To celebrate these incredible accomplishments alongside International Housekeeping Week, the team enjoyed personalized gift bags, an international snack cart, Paint 'n' Sip, and even a rally race. Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing moments from these celebrations, showcasing the deep respect and gratitude we have for our incredible housekeeping teams.
