CHEK Project Seminar at World Maritime University Our CHEK project recently concluded its final seminar on 16-17 May 2024 in Malmo, Sweden. Over the past three years, our consortium has dedicated itself to supporting the maritime industry in its journey to decarbonize the sector.The energy-saving technologies working in synergy can help to reduce about 50% of energy consumption of ships. CHEK workshop with Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard   Today CHEK project partners had a great opportunity to disseminate the project results with Chantiers de l'Atlantique (CdA) shipyard.   'Chantiers de l'Atlantique is one of the world leaders in designing, manufacturing, installing and commissioning of highly complex ships and marine facilities.'   During the workshop, we strongly believed that in order to #decarbonize the #maritimeindustry, we need to combine the #energy-saving technologies. We also emphasized that '#SafetyFirst'; particularly with the increasing complexity of vessel systems due to #newtechnologies. We also thank colleagues Matthieu Lorang, Adrien Benoist and Amandine Thomas from Chantiers de l'Atlantique for their participation and fruitful discussion.
