    CFO at Cheniere (NYSE: LNG)

Cheniere Energy, Inc. today announced 3Q 2024 results and raised and tightened financial guidance for full-year 2024 on the strength of incremental production, higher margins and portfolio optimization activities. Our strong financial results continue to drive progress on our ‘20/20 Vision’ capital allocation plan, with ~$1 billion deployed in the quarter. As previously announced, we increased our third-quarter dividend by ~15% to $2.00 per share annualized. With our shares repurchased to-date, we are over halfway to meeting our goal of ~200 million shares outstanding.    During the quarter, the company exported its 1,000th cargo from our Corpus Christi Liquefaction facility, a milestone that reinforces Cheniere’s reputation as a safe and reliable operator. We advanced our CCL Stage 3 project and continue to target first LNG from its first train by the end of the year, and now expect 47-48 MT of production next year across our facilities.   In addition to our financial results, yesterday we announced the establishment of a voluntary, measurement-informed Scope 1 methane emissions intensity target of 0.03% per tonne of LNG produced across our two Gulf Coast liquefaction facilities by 2027. The target represents the latest milestone in Cheniere’s climate strategy.   As we approach the end of the year, I want to thank our workforce, investors and communities for their continued support of our efforts. #Cheniere $LNG $CQP #LNG

Today we announced that Cheniere has set a voluntary, measurement-informed Scope 1 annual methane emissions intensity target of 0.03% per tonne of LNG produced across Cheniere’s two Gulf Coast liquefaction facilities by 2027. This Scope 1 target leverages data from our emissions measurement and mitigation programs and is consistent with the requirements to achieve Gold Standard under Cheniere’s membership in the United Nations Environment Programme’s (UNEP) Oil & Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP) 2.0. Cheniere’s Quantification, Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (QMRV) projects — including data from approximately 50 aerial measurements of the Company’s operations at its liquefaction facilities performed over a 16-month period — informed the process of establishing the methane target. Using measured emissions data to inform methane targets represents an important element in Cheniere’s strategy and moves the industry forward in its climate performance. At Cheniere, our commitment to safety extends to the communities where we live and work. Earlier this week, we were honored to present the Fire Fighters Foundation of Houston with a $50,000 donation to fund the purchase of state-of-the-art thermal-imaging cameras for the Houston Fire Department. Cheniere representatives, including Senior Vice President of Policy, Government and Public Affairs Julie Nelson and members of our Health, Safety and Environmental team, joined Houston Fire Chief Thomas Muñoz, Fire Fighters Foundation Chairman Lee Vela and firefighters and staff at Houston Fire Station 8 in downtown for a check presentation and demonstration of the cameras’ capabilities. Thermal-imaging cameras play a critical role in detecting heat signatures and sources, locating missing people and identifying potential hazards, helping firefighters be safe on the job and save lives. The new cameras will be used at HFD’s Val Jahnke Training Facility. We are proud to support the Houston Fire Department and first responders in their commitment to safety and heroic service to the community.

We have invested approximately $45 billion in capital projects in the Gulf Coast region, safely producing and exporting more than 3,500 cargoes of LNG since 2016. Hear from Eduardo, a permit-to-work coordinator at our Sabine Pass Liquefaction facility in Louisiana, on how Cheniere is making a difference here and around the world.   #EnergizingAMoreSecureFuture

Since 2021, the Cheniere Foundation has teamed up with DC Greens, a non-profit whose mission is to cultivate health equity by providing locally grown food, fostering connections and advocating for food justice in our nation’s capital. Recently, employees from Cheniere’s D.C. and Houston offices spent their day at The Well at Oxon Run, DC Greens’ 1-acre community farm and wellness space. They harvested produce, removed debris and prepared the space for an upcoming fall festival. Their volunteerism illustrates Cheniere’s commitment to supporting the communities where our people live and work.
