According to the Alzheimer's Association® Oklahoma Chapter, more than 67,000 Oklahomans are living with the disease and more than 135,000 friends and family members provide unpaid care for their loved ones each year.
We are proud to lend our support and continue bringing awareness on how to fight this disease in Indian Country by making a $25,000 contribution to support the Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's, taking place in Tulsa on Saturday, September 21.
Cherokee Nation Businesses and Cherokee Nation have a team participating in this year’s walk and we invite all employees, their friends and family to join in and amplify our collective impact in raising awareness for this debilitating disease.
“Whether it is walking, raising funds or making a donation, your involvement can help us make an even greater difference in the lives this disease has affected,” said CNB CEO Chuck Garrett. “Together, we can strengthen our support and bring hope to countless families.”
