A few months ago, some guys from Trans Ash, Inc. and CCS made a claim that they could bunt off a MLB pitcher. Last week we put their claims to the test and found that CCS and TransAsh don’t just exceed expectations on the job site, but they also exceed expectations on the ball field. To make it even better, we were able to turn this into a charity event and raise money for Carolina Relief who are helping our neighbors in Western North Carolina as they begin recovering from Hurricane Helene. Watch the video to see TransAsh and CCS in action! https://lnkd.in/e8-rZE75

THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered, sponsored, participated, and donated at Chesapeake’s 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefitting Rainbow Kidz of Iredell County. Despite occurring during a hurricane, so many people still showed up and showed out to ensure that the donation’s for this awesome organization topped those from 2023. This year we raised $17,475, which CCS matched dollar for dollar, making a total donation of $34,950 for Rainbow Kidz of Iredell County. We’re continuously blown away by the impact the wonderful people in our industry make each year 🤍🩵💙

Chesapeake Containment Systems, Inc. reposted this
This week, we had the privilege of attending an exceptional event in North Carolina, organized by Chesapeake Containment Systems, Inc. The gathering blended technical presentations with valuable networking opportunities, creating a great experience for all participants. The sessions featured highly specialized technical presentations on geosynthetics installation and related industry innovations. In particular, one of the speaking sessions was delivered by Samuel Allen from TRI Environmental Group, focusing on Interface Friction Testing in geosynthetics. His presentation offered insight into the critical parameters to consider when designing and interpreting friction programs involving geosynthetics. At the end of the day, there was a panel discussion with open questions from the public about geosynthetics, where diverse professionals such as Ken Daly, Scott Ashby, Michael Gnau, P.E., Chris Eichelberger, Chris Downs and Samuel Allen were able to reply from their different perspectives and experience. We're passionate advocates for initiatives that blend technical expertise with practical application in educating and promoting the use of geosynthetics. Such comprehensive approaches are crucial for advancing our industry. For any inquiries regarding friction programs or other geosynthetics-related questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. You can reach Samuel Allen at sallen@tri-env.com or call our toll-free number at 800-880-8378 #geosynthetics #testing #austin #qualitycontrol #education #installation

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of visiting our friends AGRU America, Inc. for a tour of their facilities in Georgetown, SC. We also popped over to Winyah Landfill where we are installing a system of GCL, 50mil HDPE Supergrip Net, and ClosureTurf with sand infill. Of course, no trip to the Charleston area is complete without a cruise through the harbor.
