Chevy Chase Club, one of the nation's most prestigious private clubs, is seeking a highly skilled Director of Platform Tennis and Pickleball to lead and elevate our established racquet programs. Key responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of adult and junior platform tennis and pickleball programs, developing innovative activities to enhance member engagement and grow participation, and collaborating with the Director of Racquets to drive strategic program development. You will also play a leadership role in program management, member relations, and event planning. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience, preferably in a private club environment, demonstrate leadership, strong communication and organizational abilities, and a passion for teaching, developing players, and fostering a vibrant racquets community. Our guest speaker, Kylie Rae Fitzgibbons, known as the Director of Happiness and Chief Optimism Officer, delivered insights on self-care strategies to foster Service With a Smile. Despite the backdrop of a severe summer storm, our events team seamlessly transformed our networking reception into a serene Italian retreat.
