At the IFMA Fall Member Appreciation, working with our hosts, Rightsize Facility, the team piloted a zero waste event. Purchasing local with minimal packaging, zero plastics and compostable disposable products, the event generated less than 1 lb. of landfill waste, along with 25 lbs. of recycling and over 6 lbs. of compost. Look for more IFMA/Chicago zero waste events in 2025.

Founded in 1982, the Chicago Chapter's mission is to advance the profession of Facilities Management and to support the professional growth and development of facilities managers in the Chicagoland area.
