#TeamCTA celebrates Native American Heritage Month!    Did you know that the name "Chicago" actually comes from the Potawatomi word “Checagou,” which is derived from “Zhegagoynak?” In Potawatomi, "zhegagosh" means "wild onion," and "nak" translates to "the place of". To close out Hispanic Heritage Month, HR's Employee Engagement team hosted a lotería game night at CTA headquarters. Team members enjoyed refreshments and snacks while testing their luck at the classic Mexican card game, lotería. The afternoon ended with several lucky winners taking home fun prizes and all participants receiving a poster version of our CTA themed lotería board, featuring el autobús, el mecánico, el tren and more.
