Affectionately known as “Uncle Dave” or “Super Dave,” Team Member Dave Poore is a fan favorite at Chick-fil-A in Oxford, Alabama. At 82 years young, Dave always greets Guests with a warm smile and kind words. With 16 years of service, Dave brings enthusiasm and kindness to every interaction – whether it be a Guest or fellow Team Member. Each year, Dave orders dozens of silver dollars to hand out to graduates, a thoughtful gesture that has turned into a local tradition. No one embodies the values of kindness and care quite like Dave. When he’s not working in Restaurant, Dave loves to bake, occasionally coming in on his day off to bring Team Members special birthday cakes that he bakes himself, giving from the heart. Super Dave, we love all the little things you do every day to make those around you feel special!

Helping students gear up for success! 🎒 Recently, Chick-fil-A Hialeah Westland in South Florida hosted their 4th annual Back to School Backpack Giveaway. They provided 500 backpacks filled with school supplies to help get the school year off to a great start for students in the Hialeah community! A big thank you to local Owner-Operator Cynthia Bowles. Destination: Summer travel 😎⛱ Recently, more than 30 little Guests at Chick-fil-A Sugarloaf & 316 in Lawrenceville, GA had a blast picking out new cuddly friends and getting creative. With colorful accessories like pipe cleaner collars and beaded friendship bracelets, each cow was lovingly personalized. The best part? Each Guest received an official adoption certificate and a DIY scrapbook to document all the fun. From deep-sea fishing and camping to pool days galore, we're certain these Chick-fil-A cows are having the summer of a lifetime

For Ms. Carol, Chick-fil-A Team Member in Guntersville, Alabama, nothing brings her joy like helping others in need. For one military wife and mother of three, Ms. Carol became the village she needed.

Owner-Operator Stanley Webster epitomizes the transformative power of mentorship and resilience. Hailing from Madison, Alabama, Stanley’s early years were filled with obstacles. Despite facing personal setbacks ranging from financial instability to natural disasters, his determination never wavered.    Chick-fil-A Madison Owner-Operator Norman Dull took Stanley under his wing inside and outside of the restaurant. Norman's belief in Stanley fueled his rise from a dedicated Team Member in Alabama to restaurant leader in Los Angeles. Now, as an Owner-Operator himself, Stanley is paying it forward by cultivating opportunities for Team Members in his restaurant to thrive. Brandon Brusenhan's path to becoming an Owner-Operator is tied together by moments of care and mentorship. While working at Chick-fil-A in Oklahoma as a teenager, Brandon was preparing for a Daddy Daughter date night when he realized he didn’t know how to tie a necktie, nor did he have someone to help him. Bubba Cathy, Executive Vice President of Chick-fil-A, Inc., happened to be in the restaurant. Without hesitation, Bubba took Brandon into his office and helped him properly tie a tie – a memory Brandon will never forget.   That simple act of kindness showed Brandon that the little things can truly make a big difference, inspiring him learn more about Chick-fil-A.
