This week, a Chick-fil-A Mobile Kitchen is just outside of Asheville, N.C., serving thousands of chicken sandwiches.   “I have friends in this community that need hope, that need someone to shine a light in this dark time right now – and we get to do that serving Chick-fil-A sandwiches through the mobile kitchen truck,” said Chick-fil-A Forest City Owner-Operator Sam Seigler, whose restaurant is located almost an hour from where the mobile kitchen is serving.   We are grateful to Chick-fil-A Owner-Operators and their Team Members who are supporting communities across Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas and Tennessee following Hurricane Helene. https://lnkd.in/ghFBdZBv

From part-time Team Members to becoming Chick-fil-A Owner-Operators, brothers John and Julian Good are creating a family legacy built on leadership, community, and service! ❤️ John’s path began with a part-time job at Chick-fil-A during college that opened his eyes to a purpose-driven career. Today, he is the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Batavia and a location at the University of Chicago. Julian, inspired by his brother’s journey, will soon open Chick-fil-A St. Charles, just a few miles away. https://lnkd.in/gKXTAwkA

Meet Katy, Danny, Maria and Jovanni – Team Members at Chick-fil-A Waynesville in western North Carolina, impacted by Hurricane Helene.   When they got off their shifts, they walked to a local restaurant nearby. Noticing the staff needed some help, they quickly jumped in and started cleaning floors, bussing tables and helping with dishes. Once they helped the staff catch up, they rejoined the line to be seated.   “When I heard what my Team Members had done, I was very proud, but not surprised,” said Chick-fil-A Waynesville Owner-Operator Robert Conard. “Our staff is the absolute best and are all like family to us. We teach them from the first day that they come to work for us to go the second mile for all of our guests. Those that have a servant’s heart thrive in that environment. The culture just naturally spills over to every part of their life. I am so happy that they are being recognized for their actions, but I know, without a doubt, that they wouldn’t have done anything any different even if no one was watching!”   Thank you for the way you showed care, Katy, Danny, Maria and Jovanni! ❤️

For Owner-Operator Ibukun Olubiyi, Chick-fil-A’s expansion across Canada has provided an opportunity for her to create a lasting impact in her community.   Ibukun's journey to opening the first-ever Chick-fil-A restaurant in Ottawa, Ontario has been one filled with global experiences and higher education. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Olubiyi spent time in England and Ireland, earning an MBA from Loughborough University in the U.K before moving to Canada. “My vision for my restaurant is to be a positive influence on everyone we come in contact with within the city of Ottawa,” Olubiyi emphasized. “Not only do I want to win the hearts of the Kanata community through an exceptional Chick-fil-A experience, but I also want to be a part of the solution for any challenges facing my local neighborhoods.” By prioritizing higher wages for Team Members, providing life coaching opportunities for services like financial planning and immigration information, Ibukun hopes to bring this vision to life and positively influence her community for many generations to come.  https://lnkd.in/g-K6-xdT

When Owner-Operator Michael Kelley relocated to Vero Beach, Florida in 2013, he met Carl Herndon. With shared interests, the two quickly connected but soon Michael learned they had much more in common than just their hobbies. Carl played a pivotal role in building over 1,000 Chick-fil-A restaurants - including two of Michael’s restaurants.    Sadly, in 2024 Carl passed away in a tragic bike accident. To honor his incredible legacy, Michael partnered with the Mental Health Association in Indian River County to create a unique tribute. This special turtle now graces Chick-fil-A East Vero Beach, symbolizing Carl’s lasting impact and the strength of the community. It serves as a daily inspiration for Team Members and a reminder of the difference one person can make.    Thank you, Carl, for your unwavering dedication and for inspiring us to give back. Your legacy of “living life large” continues to uplift and encourage us to support one another, and will be remembered for years to come! https://lnkd.in/eBmJWMJQ

For Chick-fil-A Cicero Owner-Operator Jimmer Szatkowski, the opportunity to hire remarkable people and find ways to develop them has always sparked his interest. Since opening the first Chick-fil-A in Upstate New York, 11 individuals who at some point worked under Jimmer’s leadership have been selected to run their own Chick-fil-A restaurants. Although he received an unexpected diagnosis a few years ago, Jimmer discovered that he still has the opportunity to help grow and develop leaders. He doesn’t let circumstances impact his dedication, and as he continues to navigate life's challenges, Jimmer is focused on leading with love.   Read Jimmer’s full story: https://bit.ly/4guXqxE
