Along the way, they explored houses, businesses, and familiar spots in the neighborhood. 🚶♀️☀️ 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑵𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒅! Last week, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮'𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 enjoyed a beautiful walk in the sunshine while learning about signs! 🛑🚸 The kiddos searched high and low to find as many signs as they could, stopping to talk about what they said and what they meant. Along the way, they took a break to watch an excavator hard at work loading a dump truck, spotted fire hydrants, and even chatted with some of their neighbors! The highlight? Seeing just how big street signs really are up close—what a surprise for these curious learners! 📚🎶 𝗔 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝘀𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆!🎶📚 Last week, our 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝘀𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 classroom enjoyed a walking field trip to the 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝘀𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 for a special story hour event! The kids were thrilled to see 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 (as seen on YouTube!) perform his exciting show, 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙨! 𝘼 𝘽𝙪𝙗𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬. 🎤🫧 It was a day full of music, laughter, and bubbles, and our kiddos had an amazing time! 🎨 𝙏𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮: 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝘼𝙧𝙩! 🎨 In Ms. Erin and Ms. Brittany's classroom at our Greenwood Center, creativity and curiosity collided! Instead of tossing out markers without lids, the kiddos found a new purpose for them—𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁! 🖌️💧 This activity became a perfect opportunity to explore both art and science! The kids experimented to see how water temperature affected the colors and whether markers with lids created darker shades.
