Excellence in Single-Ply! This morning we were visited by our partners at Harper Winn, Inc. and Carlisle SynTec Systems to present us with Carlisle's 2024 Excellence in Single-Ply award. Chinook is 1 of 3 contractors in the state of WA to receive this award. "ESP status is given out annually to a small percentage of Carlisle's most dedicated and professionally minded applicators. Selection into this elite group is based on a company's volume and quality of Carlisle single-ply roofing systems." None of this would be possible without the hard work and dedication of our Foremen, Superintendents and Project Managers under the leadership of Brandon Adreon. Keep crushing it Team Chinook!

Our service guys have been hard at work on this amazing retrofit project at Chief Leschi Schools for the Puyallup Tribe with MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions. We started in Spring of this year and will continue into Spring next year with a bulk of the scope being completed by the end of August. When the kids return to school, they will have more usable space inside of the existing buildings as well as better air quality and efficiency. On Friday we hosted our annual Safety Breakfast and it's one of few opportunities we get the field and office staff to be all together. We'd like to thank our partners SRS Distribution Inc. and Shayne Abston for being our breakfast sponsor. Jason Sturgeon has created a great program called Arcade Wayfinding. This year, our company has had 4 graduates and a 5th employee just started last week. Our investment in the education and development of our employees is one of our core principles of our company. Luis is a prime example of hard work and commitment. He’s been with Chinook for about 15 years. Starting as a low slope installer and is now our commercial superintendent. Congrats to Luis and a huge thank you to Jason Sturgeon and his team for being the change we’re striving to see in the construction industry.
