We were on hand to celebrate a sweet homecoming for the Dennis-Lozada and Davis families as @Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity dedicated their new homes on June 26. On Jan. 30, 2024, the Chesapeake Utilities Corporation – Maryland Division, Sandpiper Energy, Inc., and Elkton Gas Company filed with the Maryland Public Service Commission a Joint Application for increases to their base rates for gas distribution service and for certain other changes to their natural gas tariffs, which was assigned Case No. 9722. An evening hearing for the purpose of receiving public comments in connection with the Application will be held on Tuesday, July 23 at 7 p.m. at Wor-Wic Community College, Guerrieri Hall, 3200 Campus Dr, Salisbury, MD 21804.
